Company story

Materassia was founded in 1997 – the heritage of a fifty-year tradition in the field of upholstery. With an outstanding focus on quality and on improving, the company operates with its own centre for research and design to guarantee constant development and the highest production standard. Meticulous control of the production process is done before the products are delivered or stored. This and the personal connection to the distribution network explain the company’s strong growth (for the last five years, the company has had an annual growth of 30%).
After the affirmation on research and production of high-quality mattresses and the use of valuable materials to produce them (latex, memory form, AquaPure, orthopaedic mattresses), whom also Italian and European mattresses market leader wondering to, this year we want to submit innovations in removable mattress covers as well as a dynamic internal ventilation system. This “air system” is an air channel constructed along the edge of the cover to provide an air flow throughout the entire mattress. This insures a higher level of hygiene because the cover can be easily removed and cleaned.
We offer Aloe vera, lyocel, Silver & Life, lenpur, Amicor pure, Nanotex and Scensic fabrics; each one have got ECOLABEL brand and they grant a complete mattress personalization.
We are able to develop handiwork and high-quality accessories, true tools of beauty and regeneration, guaranteed and certified by specialized company.
Business programs foresees booming market, focused marketing campaign on specialized magazine, communication network and rising participation to the best fairs.
In the 2007 we have launched our business house organ, a quarterly magazine prepared by sleep specialists.
